It has been my honor to serve as the Founder and Executive Director of Pure International from 2011 until 2024. I have had many opportunities to impact many lives and to encourage them to inspire, lead, and achieve with their sashes and crowns through our #BetheImpact initiative all around the world. Myself, along with my family, Doug, Elizabeth Clary, Ashley Horsley, and Amber Miller, enjoyed this journey together.

As I retire from directing on the international level, I am honored to hand the reins of Ownership and Executive Director to Angie Chambliss.  Angie's passion for PURE is such a blessing to the future of PURE.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to every person who competed, directed, judged, worked on staff, supported, sponsored, awarded, and promoted the mission of PURE International. God has blessed me with some of the best friends I'll ever have through PURE. This pageant truly isn't just about a crown, but about the calling God placed on each of our lives to change the world. I wish each and every one of you great success and blessings for a bright and impactful future.

Meet the Owner &
Executive Director

Angie Chambliss is the Owner and Executive Director of Pure International Pageants, where faith, family, community service, and purpose are at the heart of everything she does.

With more than three decades of experience in the pageant industry, Angie has experienced pageantry from nearly every perspective—as a competitor, coach, hair and makeup artist, director, judge, mentor, and now international pageant owner. She has earned titles at the state, national, and international levels, giving her a unique understanding of both the excitement of competition and the responsibility that comes with wearing a crown.

But for Angie, pageantry has never been simply about the crown.

Her heart is to create an organization where girls and women are encouraged to discover their God-given purpose, develop confidence, serve others, strengthen their leadership skills, and understand that their greatest impact will always come from who they are beyond the stage.

Angie's professional journey has been just as diverse. She served as a Meteorologist in the **United States Air Force during Operation Iraqi Freedom**, earned a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science, and was honored as **Airman of the Year**. She later spent more than 14 years working in marketing, developing a passion for building brands, connecting with people, and creating messages that make an impact.

Faith has remained the foundation through every season of her life. Ordained as a minister in 2017, Angie has served in numerous areas of ministry and has spent years encouraging others in their walk with Christ. Her faith isn't simply something she talks about—it shapes the way she strives to lead, serve, love people, and build Pure.

Service is equally close to her heart. Angie has helped lead fundraising efforts benefiting the **Muscular Dystrophy Association** and has served as an ambassador supporting homeless veterans and their transition back into society with dignity and respect.

Raised in a small, close-knit community, Angie learned early the importance of faith, family, hard work, compassion, and serving others. Today, those same values are woven throughout the culture she is building at Pure International Pageants.

Angie has been married to her husband, David, for more than 30 years, and together they are blessed with two children. Her family remains one of her greatest sources of encouragement and the reminder behind one of Pure's most important values: **family matters**.

As Pure enters its next chapter, Angie's vision is bigger than producing another pageant. Her desire is to build an organization that leaves a lasting impact on the lives of the girls and women who walk through its doors—one that reminds every contestant that a crown may be beautiful, but her character, faith, leadership, service, and the way she uses her life to impact others are what truly define her.

One scripture continues to capture the heart behind Angie's life and leadership:

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16**

Through Pure International Pageants, Angie hopes to encourage every person she encounters to **shine their light, discover their purpose, lead with faith, serve with heart, and never underestimate what God can do with a willing life.**

Inspire. Lead. Achieve.
