Meet the Owner

and Executive Director

Married to her loving husband for 30 years and blessed with two incredible children, her family and steadfast faith in God—are not only the heart of her life but also her constant source of strength and motivation. Their unwavering support, love, and the spiritual foundation her family shares are the bedrock upon which she has built a diverse and rewarding career, spanning over three decades in the vibrant world of pageantry.

Her journey in pageantry has been deeply enriching, filled with roles as a coach, hair and makeup artist, director, and competitor. She deserves to be proud of the recognition she has earned, with titles at state, national, and international levels, each reflecting her passion for this empowering industry. Beyond the stage, she has dedicated 14 years to marketing, where she has thrived in elevating brands and crafting impactful messages that resonate.

Her life's work extends far beyond professional pursuits; it's also rooted in a profound commitment to service and faith. Ordained as a minister in 2017, she has had the privilege of guiding and supporting countless individuals and serving in many capacities within her church. This role complements her earlier career as a Meteorologist in the United States Air Force, where she served during Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science and the honor of Airman of the Year.

Philanthropy is a calling that resonates deeply with Angie. She has been fortunate to lead initiatives that raised substantial funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, a cause close to her heart. Additionally, as an Ambassador for the Veterans Homeless Organization, she championed efforts to honor and support our veterans, aiding their transition back into society with the dignity they deserve.

Raised in a small, close-knit community, Angie's Christian faith has been the guiding light of her life from a young age, instilling values of compassion, integrity, and the importance of making a meaningful impact. These values are vividly reflected in her engagement with Pure International Pageants, where she is inspired to help others shine their light, leading by example and striving for excellence in all aspects of life.

As she reflects on the scripture Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven," Angie is reminded of the power of living a life that not only reaches for success but also enriches the lives of others. Through Pure International Pageants, it is Angie's goal to ignite this spark of leadership and achievement, celebrating the profound beauty and strength in everyone.

Angie Chambliss

It has been my honor to serve as the Founder and Executive Director of Pure International from 2011 until 2024. I have had many opportunities to impact many lives and to encourage them to inspire, lead, and achieve with their sashes and crowns through our #BetheImpact initiative all around the world. Myself, along with my family, Doug, Elizabeth Clary, Ashley Horsley, and Amber Miller, enjoyed this journey together.

As I retire from directing on the international level, I am honored to hand the reins of Ownership and Executive Director to Angie Chambliss.  Angie's passion for PURE is such a blessing to the future of PURE.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to every person who competed, directed, judged, worked on staff, supported, sponsored, awarded, and promoted the mission of PURE International. God has blessed me with some of the best friends I'll ever have through PURE.  This pageant truly isn't just about a crown, but about the calling God placed on each of our lives to change the world. I wish each and every one of you great success and blessings for a bright and impactful future.
