PURE is a very unique International System that allows contestants to represent their citizenship as well as their heritage. Contestants wanting to represent a country must be a born citizen of that country or have dual citizenship of the country in which she wishes to represent, or have heritage (up to 3rd generation descendant, meaning that at least your immediate biological great grandparents, grandparents, or parents were born in another country, that makes you first, second, or third generation descendant.) Proof of residency or heritage may be required. Contestants should register for the age division according to what their age will be the within 30 days before or after the international pageant dates.
